What is it?
The Ultimate Challenge is really a set of challenges that participants will take part in over the course of one year. Yes, that’s right, The Ultimate Challenge lasts a full year. During the course of the year, participants will be required to record their progress in a log system. All of the challenges have been designed to help participants develop a healthy, well-balanced life style.

Who can participate?
The Ultimate Challenge is open to anyone 13 years of age or older that wants to live a healthier life style.

What are the Benefits?

  • Physical Benefits
    A regular exercise program helps to relieve stress, promote weight loss, reduce fat, increase cardio capacity, as well as increase strength and endurance. In a nutshell, you will look and feel better.
  • Psychological Benefits
    A year of integrating changes into your daily routine and diet will lead to a healthier state of mind. Simply put, you will gain a better understanding of who you are and what makes you tick.
  • Other Benefits
    You will have a better appreciation for the life you live through empathy training. You will also get a sense of accomplishment that comes from achieving set goals.
  • Over-all you will be healthier and happier inside and out.

  • Physical Challenges
    Push Ups, Squats and Crunches
    36,000 (minimum) pushups, squats and crunches are required over the one-year time period. That’s roughly 700 a week, 100 a day per exercise.

    While this may seem like a lot of repetitions, you will find that this may be one of the easier requirements to meet. There are two primary reasons for making this number as large as it is.

    1) These are relatively simple exercises and after the first few weeks you will be able to complete your daily repetitions in a short amount of time. (Notice that none of the exercises require the use of special equipment and can be accomplished even while on vacation.)

    2) This shows you how a large ambitious project can be accomplished by breaking it down into smaller more manageable pieces. Our hope is that at the end of The Ultimate Challenge you will realize you can do things that on the surface appear overwhelming if you set your goals properly and work on them one day at a time.

    Walk, Run or Bike
    An old Chinese proverb says that the journey of 1000 miles begins with one step. Rather than take a 1000-mile journey we are asking you to log 500 miles over the course of the year. These miles can be completed by walking, running, biking or any combination of the three. That comes out to be roughly 10 miles per week.

  • Other Challenges
    Empathy Training
    You will perform the following tasks in order to gain a better understanding of the physical challenges that others face.

    1) Spend one full day living in a wheel chair

    2) Spend one full day blind

    3) Spend one full day without talking

    Community Service
    You will take part in at least one community service project of your choosing. Suggestions of various service projects will be periodically emailed or you can choose to start your own service project.

Health & Fitness Training
The Ultimate Challenge is designed to strengthen you psychologically as well as physically. For this reason, we ask that you read at least 1 biography of an individual who in your opinion has made an impact on this world.

Inspirational Quotes & Sayings
You will memorize 25 motivational quotes or sayings of your choosing. At the end of the challenge you will be asked to recite the ones you have memorized. For many, this may be one of the most difficult areas of The Ultimate Challenge. Assistance will be given in how to memorize this amount of quotes or sayings, as well as resources that can be used at home to help in this area of The Challenge.

Detox & Cleanse
You will perform a cleanse for one day (sunrise to sunset). For those of you who do not know what detoxing and cleansing is, assistance and advice will be provided. There are many examples of detoxing and cleansing available online as well.

Support Team
While this is an individual challenge it is not something that you will have to do on your own the staff of Anointed Fighter and Performance Revolutions will be sending out weekly emails to motivate you and to make sure your goals are being accomplished. The entire group will also have one opportunity a month to meet with a staff member. This time will be set aside to work out, ask questions and receive modifications to basic exercises.




Biblical Based Ultimate Challenge
The Biblical Based Ultimate Challenge includes all the items above as well as the items below.

Spiritual Benefits
The Biblical Based Ultimate Challenge is designed to strengthen you spiritually as well as physically. Hebrews 4:12 tells us that the Word of God is living and active. Throughout this challenge you will gain a better understanding of God through His Word. A routine of daily reading the Bible helps to increase discipline in your life and brings you one step closer in your relationship to God.

Scripture Reading
In order to get to know God better it is imperative that we spend time with Him. For this reason, you will read through the entire New Testament of the Bible.

Scripture Memorization
You will memorize 25 Bible verses of your choosing. At the end of the challenge you will be asked to recite the verses you have memorized. For many, this may be one of the most difficult areas of The Ultimate Challenge. Assistance will be given in how to memorize scripture as well as resources that can be used at home to help in this area of the challenge.

Fasting
You will fast for one day (sunrise to sunset). For those of you that do not know what fasting is, it means to go without food for a certain period of time. There are many examples of fasting that can be found throughout the Bible. The purpose of fasting during this challenge is for the you to draw closer to God. We understand that there may be participants that do not know God personally or who are looking into Christianity. We ask that these individuals use this day of fasting to seek the truth about who God is and their relationship with him. More information and insight into fasting will be given out during the first quarter of the challenge.

Support Team
While this is an individual challenge it is not something that you will have to do on your own. The staff of Anointed Fighter and Performance Revolutions will be sending out weekly emails to motivate you and to make sure your goals are being accomplished. The entire group will also have one opportunity a month to meet with a staff member. This time will be set aside to work out, ask questions and receive modifications to basic exercises.

These emails will include 1 exercise routine for you to incorporate into your exercise schedule for that week. At this time you have a chance to ask questions, receive modifications and fitness tips.

The cost for the entire challenge is $199. Sign-up before January 5th and save $50. This includes a training log, weekly motivational emails, monthly training sessions with staff, three weight and body fat analyses, as well as a t-shirt and certificate upon completion of the challenge.
